The recognition of our quality is confirmed by various ISO certificates awarded to BROSHUIS BV. Especially for supplies to the various Ministry’s of Defense throughout the world.
In 1992, the first order from the army was awarded to BROSHUIS BV. After many trials Broshuis performed the best from the trials and was awarded with the order for 139 not extendable three-axle semi-low loaders.
These 3-axle semi-low loaders were exactly what the Dutch army where looking for and required. These trailers were then regularly lent to the Belgian army. This resulted in 1999 a order was given for six three axle semi-low loaders. The Belgian army was soon convinced by the quality of the Broshuis product and three years later a subsequent order was placed by the Belgian army for a further 8 Units.
The Dutch army had yet another requirement in the year 2000 for a three axle low loader. This had to meet certain special requirements. Once again BROSHUIS B.V. was awarded the contract to design and supply yet another successful contract and product.
Because of the contracts previously awarded and completed with great success in 1993 and 2000 (quality, functionality and stability) yet another contract was placed in 2003 placed for 12 multifunctional container chassis
In 2005 there was a large demand for new trucks and trailers for the Dutch defense industry. Both truck and trailer manufacturers were invited to tender jointly for these major projects. BROSHUIS B.V. Joined forces with the Dutch truck manufacturer DAF for their bid for the contract. After many extensive tests and trials at various locations in various extreme conditions (-35 degrees in Norway and Africa + 45 degrees) the DAF and BROSHUIS BV partnership completed these extensive trials with great success. This meant that another important contract was awarded to BROSHUIS which consisted of 63 four-axle semi low loaders and 39 seven-axle semi-low loaders.
For the many years that the Dutch and Belgian army’s have operated Broshuis trailers with great success this success had been noticed by The British Army and resulted in a order been placed by the British MOD to meet there very own requirement. Therefore the British Ministry of Defense decided to purchase 60 3 axle semi-low loaders. Once again trailer manufacturers were invited to design and deliver a prototype for extensive trials and again after these trials Broshuis BV emerged head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. The order for 60 units in 2005 was placed with Broshuis BV. The trailers were so well admired by the British army one year later they again ordered a further 39 trailers.
