Welcome, what can I do for you?

Unfortunately, we have had to decide to shut down the factory on March 30. The tightening of regulations from the government are increasingly causing problems with compliance in the workplace. This makes it increasingly difficult to control safety. In addition, the closure of suppliers factories is also causing shortages of crucial parts.

Broshuis therefore temporarily stops its production of high-quality special transport trailers and multifunctional container chassis due to a shortage of components and the major disruptions that have occurred in the supplier and logistics chain as a result of the distribution of COVID-19 in Europe.

"Working with heavy components in combination with the 1.5 meter distance rule makes working safely simply impossible. Unacceptable to us, to ensure that our customers' fleet can continue to roll, our Service and Maintenance will continue to support these customers. With this force majeure, we mainly think of everyone who is affected by the COVID-19 virus", says Pieter-Bas Broshuis.

Broshuis currently expects to resume production in early May, which of course depends on how the virus develops.

We wish everyone health and strength in this extraordinary time.
