KSS transports Powerscreen Warrior 1400X
Oliver Reifges, driver at KSS GmbH, has another great trip planned. He has to transport a crushing and screening installation from Rotterdam to Schwerin in Southern Germany. The day starts for Oliver in Rotterdam, where he loads the crushing and screening installation onto his 4-axle semi low loader from Broshuis.
The ECO ramp proves to be very practical and user-friendly, while loading the crushing and screening installation. Using the wireless remote control, Oliver can easily operate the ECO ramp. Normally, he completely ground the ECO ramp. "This makes the ECO ramp tremendously fast and flexible to use, it really saves me a lot of valuable time!" says Oliver. On large machine like the Powerscreen Warrior 1400X, Oliver attaches additional aluminium ramps to the ECO ramp to reduce the inclination angle. After that, the Warrior 1400X can easily be driven onto the trailer without any problems.
After the load is secured, Oliver gets into the cabin and starts the journey to Schwerin. On the road, the Broshuis trailer's excellent road handling is noticeable. Oliver is very pleased with the stability, even in challenging cornering and changing road conditions. "It almost feels like the trailer is anticipating the road. It gives me the confidence to drive comfortably, even with a heavy load." Once arrived in Schwerin, Oliver starts unloading the installation. Again, he easily operates the ECO ramp from a safe distance, allowing the cargo to be unloaded quickly and efficiently.
KSS GmbH is a specialised transport company focusing on international heavy haulage, project logistics and warehousing. Currently, the company has 10 combinations. Felix Steinhardt is the managing director of KSS GmbH. "This is the seventh trailer we have purchased from Broshuis in a very short time, I think this says it all. There is always a friendly welcome, good advice, a good parts supply and service" he says.
"We are very satisfied with the good advice we received from Broshuis when buying this trailer. The low neck and ECO ramp allow the trailer to be fully utilised. And because the axles are located this far forward, the truck is not overloaded. This creates a nice short trailer with a great design that can be used multifunctionally and, in part due to the ECO ramp, minimises fuel consumption.”
