PWT Transport, based in Varendonk, Laakdal (Belgium) and run by Peter Wouters and Griet van Dingenen, has grown over nearly 25 years from a single truck into a diversified transport company with a modern fleet. With transport solutions ranging from curtain-siders, brick-, and refrigerated trailers to low loaders, PWT continues to invest in reliable equipment. To meet rising demand from the rental market, the company recently purchased two new 3-axle semi low loaders from Broshuis, a conscious investment in quality and durability.
Opting for quality
At PWT, equipment is assessed critically to ensure it meets the standards required for daily operations. “After acquiring two relatively new semi low loaders from another brand, we soon realised the quality simply didn’t meet our expectations,” says Peter. “For us, everything revolves around trust; trust in our people, in our equipment, and in what we promise to our customers. That’s why we decided to invest in quality, which ultimately brought us to Broshuis.”
From the very start, working with Broshuis felt right. “Patrick Douma guided us perfectly,” Peter explains enthusiastically. “He listens, thinks along in a practical and realistic way, we really value that. And the handover in Kampen was excellent. I personally attended the delivery of the first trailer and was warmly welcomed and given a clear, informative briefing. The second trailer was collected by one of our drivers, and he also received a great welcome in Kampen. It’s obvious that Broshuis is proud of what they produce.”
Safety and strength
PWT uses the new Broshuis trailers for a range of activities, including transporting telehandlers, aerial work platforms and other rental machinery. “Among others, the drivers Steve Emmers and Mickeal Perdriat are extremely satisfied with the Broshuis trailers,” Peter notes. This is echoed by Mickeal Perdriat (driver): “So far, I’m pleasantly surprised. This is my fourth trailer of this type, but my first from Broshuis. It has many positives, for instance, the strength of the floor is the best I’ve seen so far. And the versatility of the accessories and the overall look of the trailer are impressive.”
The flexibility of the Broshuis semi low loaders fits perfectly with the fast-moving rental market. Being able to transport virtually any load safely and efficiently is essential. With multiple TÜV-certified 10-ton lashing points, stakes and stake pockets, securing every load is both reliable and safe.
About PWT Transport
Nearly 25 years ago, Griet van Dingenen and Peter Wouters founded PWT, starting with just one truck. In the first five years, their operations focused mainly on Scandinavia. Later, activities shifted to the Benelux region, and PWT established itself in Varendonk, Laakdal (Belgium).
Through a continuous focus on excellent service and attracting skilled drivers, PWT has grown steadily. Today, the company operates 46 tractor units, 2 crane trucks and 40 trailers, including 14 semi low loaders. PWT provides transport using various types of equipment, including curtain-siders, brick trailers, refrigerated units and vehicles equipped for carrying truck-mounted forklifts. The company is also active in transporting rental telehandlers and aerial work platforms.
We wish Peter, Griet, Steve, Mickeal and the entire PWT team many safe kilometres with their new Broshuis trailers.
