This summer, Beirnaert Brent BVBA from Berlare (Belgium) put a fully customized Broshuis trailer into service: a 3-axle pendle axle low loader. The young and ambitious company has rapidly developed into a reliable partner for transporting heavy electrical cabins and various machinery for the construction and roadworks industry. With a dedicated team and modern equipment, they focus on delivering quality and service to their clients every single day!
Compact and powerful
From the very first meeting, it was clear what Brent Beirnaert (owner) was looking for: a short, extendable trailer with a high payload and maximum manoeuvrability. “We wanted a trailer that perfectly matches our way of working. That meant we needed one that is compact, yet strong and easy to operate. Thanks to the many customization options, we were able to purchase a Broshuis low loader that was built exactly the way we wanted!” says Brent. About the purchase process he adds: “The consultations were pleasant, with a genuine willingness to listen to our wishes.”
More tonnage, more possibilities
The trailer is used in combination with a 5-axle MAN truck. Because Belgian legislation allows more tonnage on the truck, a deliberate choice was made for a 35-ton heavy-duty gooseneck. Thanks to this 35-ton neck, the load’s centre of gravity can be positioned further forward, resulting in better weight distribution and more stable driving behaviour of the low loader. For Beirnaert, this makes the trailer extremely suitable for their daily activities, ranging from transporting heavy electrical cabins to long material-handling cranes.
Strong in practice
Since entering service at the beginning of August, the low loader has been used daily and fully meets expectations: “So far, we are satisfied with the trailer. It is reliable and user-friendly,” says Brent. “What makes this trailer special is the low deck, which ensures very smooth loading and unloading. In addition, the manoeuvrability is outstanding thanks to the Broshuis pendle axles with a steering angle of 70°. Everything is logically arranged, nicely finished, and drives smoothly on the road.”
Driver Jente Cams adds: “It’s a dream to drive with this trailer, and especially with the whole combination. Top-quality equipment makes the job enjoyable. Thanks to the remote control, I can manoeuvre perfectly in hard-to-reach places, and the pendle axles can be set to the right height in no time.”
Trust as a foundation
For Brent Beirnaert, this was the first purchase from Broshuis. “The commitment of our advisor, Rogier van de Slik, and the craftsmanship during production have resulted in a trailer that perfectly suits our needs,” he says.
We are proud to contribute to the growth of this young Belgian company and wish them many safe kilometres on the road!
