Finance Controller

As a Controller, you will be a key business partner to management and colleagues. You will provide reliable financial insights, safeguard the financial health of the organisation, and actively contribute to improving processes and performance. In this role, you will not only look back at results but, more importantly, look ahead to opportunities and developments.
You will be responsible for maintaining a solid financial foundation. You will prepare reports, perform analyses, and translate financial data into valuable insights. With your critical mindset, you identify risks and variances while also recognising opportunities to make processes smarter and more efficient.

What will you do?
- Be responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports.
- Monitor balance sheet positions and perform reconciliations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Identify financial risks, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Support external audits and tax-related matters.
- Optimise financial processes and internal controls.
- Develop management information and business performance reports.
- Support management and colleagues with financial and business analyses.
- Actively contribute to the further development of financial control towards business control.

Who are you?
You have built a strong foundation in Finance & Control and are ready for a role where you can make an impact both professionally and personally. You combine strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach and can present financial information clearly to colleagues across the organisation.
In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience within Finance & Control.
- A proven track record in financial controlling.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
- A critical mindset and a continuous focus on improvement.
- A visible presence within the organisation and a collaborative approach to working with different departments.
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Infor LN is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills. Experience with BI and reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
