your question!
Are you the leader who keeps daily operations in final assembly running smoothly and brings the technical expertise to help your team grow?
In this position, you are responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient workday within the final assembly department. You lead the team, safeguard the planning, and make sure that all remaining tasks on the trailers are completed to perfection.
With your technical expertise, you coach employees, maintain oversight of time registration, absence management and administrative processes, and ensure a safe working environment. In this way, you contribute to continuous improvement—every single day—and to delivering a trailer that fully meets the Broshuis quality standard.
What will you do?
- You set the direction for the workday by leading the daily start-up meeting and effectively managing the operational activities in final assembly.
- You manage and optimise the planning, closely monitoring progress and adjusting where needed.
- You safeguard technical quality by ensuring that remaining tasks are completed on time and by assessing the final product based on our high-quality standards.
- You supervise safe and responsible working practices, identify improvement opportunities, and initiate improvement actions within the team.
- You conduct coaching, development, and performance reviews, translate them into concrete agreements, and carefully document progress.
What do we offer?
At Broshuis, you don’t just work on trailers—you work on your future. In addition to excellent employment conditions under the Metalektro Collective Labor Agreement, we also take care of you. Here’s what you can expect:
- An attractive salary

- A solid pension plan for the future
- A bike plan for healthy and sustainable travel
- Discount on gym memberships
- Opportunities for growth and learning
- Free treatments with our in-house physiotherapist
- Free financial advice from our own advisor
- An active staff association with fun activities inside and outside the company
Who are you?
- You have completed a vocational (mbo) or bachelor’s (hbo) degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Business Administration (with a process-oriented focus).
- You have demonstrable knowledge and experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- You bring at least 3 years of experience as a mechanic in a technical environment.
- You have completed training in Practical Leadership, Emergency Response (BHV), hoisting certificates, VCA-VOL and forklift operation—or you are willing to obtain these in the short term.
- You work in accordance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards and occupational health & environmental guidelines, and you know how to ensure compliance within the team.
