Maximum capacity and user-friendliness
Johannes Landwehr Abbruchunternehmen GmbH is a German company with many years of experience in demolition works, dismantling and associated heavy transport. To support these activities efficiently, the company recently expanded its fleet with a 2+3 dolly low loader combination with pendle axles. For Landwehr, one thing was paramount: an intermediate configuration that fully complies with the applicable regulations, a practical solution combining maximum deployability with ease of use.
Advice that makes the difference
The choice for Broshuis was no coincidence. The expert advice provided by Sascha Merhof (Director DACH) inspired confidence and resulted in specifications that perform optimally in practice. After signing the contract, the production process ran smoothly, enabling the delivery of the dolly low loader to be scheduled at short notice. During handover, three Landwehr drivers received comprehensive instruction, where the clear explanations, practical guidance and genuine attention to the end user truly made the difference.
“Thanks to the swift delivery and excellent support, we were able to put the dolly low loader into operation immediately and integrate it seamlessly into our planning,” says Benjamin Kerkemeier. “What makes Broshuis unique is that the entire production process takes place in-house, from A to Z. This ensures full control over quality, short communication lines and a finished product in which craftsmanship is evident at every stage.”
Tailor-made solution
The decision to opt for the 2+3 dolly low loader was made carefully and deliberately. “This configuration offers the optimal balance between compact dimensions and payload capacity,” explains Sascha. “Because the semi low loader can also be deployed as a 3-axle low loader, Landwehr benefits from exceptional flexibility.”
In addition to the axle configuration, the length of the bed has been tailored to the customer’s specific requirements. Thanks to this intermediate size, the semi low loader remains within the permitted maximum length and weight for vehicle combinations. The trailer is used for a wide range of transports up to 55 tonnes, offering the versatility required in a sector where no two days are the same.
User-friendly in daily operations
In day-to-day use, its user-friendliness stands out in particular. “The operation is rated as excellent compared to competitors. This makes the drivers’ work more efficient and straightforward,” says Benjamin Kerkemeier. Mariusz Kubiciel (Driver) confirms this: “The simple operation and the many functions that can be controlled via the remote control make my job much easier and reduce loading and unloading times.”
