The position of the crane determines the balance between lifting capacity and loading space. Depending on the application, the crane can be positioned at the front, in the centre or at the rear of the gooseneck. The closer the crane is positioned to the load, the greater the lifting capacity; positioning it further forward creates additional loading length.

Hydraulic landing gear provide additional stability when operating the crane sideways or when the crane is extended. They also prevent the chassis from twisting and bending. This improves safety and provides greater ease of use.

An additional outrigger beam in front of or behind the axle bogie provides additional support during crane operations. Depending on the crane's position and lifting capacity, this feature provides greater stability around the combination. This allows the crane to be used to its full potential and reduces the likelihood of the safety system being activated.

Broshuis supplies crane profiles suitable for the most common roller cranes with capacities of 40, 50 and 70 tonne-metres. The construction is designed to accommodate the forces involved, ensuring that the trailer is optimally matched to the selected crane. Also available in mega versions.

Outrigger pads are essential during lifting operations, but they take up considerable space and can be heavy to handle. With an integrated storage rack, the pads are always stored safely, readily accessible and easy to handle.

Depending on the application, a trailer can be prepared for a PTO-driven crane or a fully electric crane. Thanks to our experience with both systems, the hydraulic lines and required technical provisions are incorporated into the trailer design from the outset.

Twistlock can be integrated both into the gooseneck and into the trailer bed. This is ideal for construction containers, battery containers and other specialised container solutions. This ensures safe transportation and maximum functionality of the combination.
