Team Leader Welding
As a Team Leader Welding, you are the key link ensuring that work within your team runs smoothly, safely, and according to plan every day. You provide clear task allocation, oversee the entire process from start to finish, and actively manage safety, quality, and progress.
You make decisions, address bottlenecks immediately, and ensure your team clearly understands expectations.
You are present on the shop floor, identify deviations, and make adjustments where needed. You maintain oversight, create structure, and ensure that agreements are met. Additionally, you contribute to the further professionalization of the department and the development of your team.
What will you do?
- Coordinate the sequence of work and ensure all required instructions, data, and components are available.
- Lead your team: distribute tasks, lead daily meetings, and develop employees through performance and development reviews (including follow-up).
- Ensure compliance with company rules, safety regulations, and quality standards, including performing checks using measuring equipment and checklists.
- Align with other departments to ensure materials, resources, and information are available on time, keeping production running smoothly.
- Identify and resolve disruptions in the workflow, planning, or material flow.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and achieving departmental KPIs.

Who are you?
- You have experience as a welder or metal fabricator and can assess technical drawings, dimensions, and welding work.
- You have experience supervising employees, or you are demonstrably ready to take this step.
- You work accurately, are process-oriented, and closely monitor quality, pace, and safety.
- You hold (or are willing to obtain) certificates such as VCA-VOL, Practical Leadership, and First Aid (BHV).
- You have a good command of the English language (spoken required, written is a plus).
- You think ahead, anticipate risks, and come up with concrete solutions when issues arise.
- You are decisive, clear, and consistent.
