When loading, unloading and securing are always different
Transporting forklifts, reach trucks and aerial work platforms is a job in itself. Apart from the fact that the machines to be transported often differ, the loading and unloading location is also always different. Sometimes it is a construction site that is difficult to reach and other times you need to be in the middle of a city centre. Transporting these vehicles, therefore, requires a specialised approach. Furthermore, the wheeled vehicles often have different track sizes, three or four wheels, which means loading, unloading and securing is always different and the peak load on the trailer is high. Broshuis offers special trailers for forklifts, reach trucks and aerial work platform transport, giving you extra flexibility as a transporter and/or rental company.
What will you transport?
We have developed special trailers for heavier and larger forklifts and reach trucks with high masts. To keep the new (electric) forklift and reach trucks clean and dry, they are often transported in a curtainsider. It is also important that the equipment can be used as soon as possible by the customer. Due to the low bed and possible sliding roof on our inloader and semi low loader with 4 position bed, it is possible to transport forklift trucks and reach trucks completely assembled. This allows you to load and unload quickly and safely without dismantling the mast. This is a great time saver and the (electric) forklift and reach trucks arrive complete, undamaged and clean at the distribution centre, warehouse or warehouse of the end customer.
Do you operate in the rental market? Then a versatile trailer is important. This is because the range of machines to be transported is wider. Forklift trucks, telehandlers and aerial work platforms (such as articulated and telescopic boom lifts) in various sizes are easy to transport with our semi low loader with hydraulic ramps. For this reason, our trailers are equipped with wide drive-up ramps, various certified lashing possibilities for securing the various machines and, if necessary, a reinforced loading floor. These trailers are often equipped with a lift-bed so that loading can take place directly from the loading floor onto the gooseneck. See for example this forklift semi low loader. The vehicles can thus be quickly and efficiently loaded and unloaded so you can carry on to the next customer or assignment.
