Growth demands space
At Broshuis, we never stand still. While we continue to develop smart transport solutions for clients across the globe, we’re preparing to take the next step. On our headquarters in Kampen, we’ll soon begin construction of a new production hall measuring over 6,000 square metres. At the same time, we’re streamlining the logistics flow between our halls. It’s how we continue to grow, always with a focus on quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
This expansion comes in response to the increasing demand from our ever-growing customer base, as well as several major international projects, including contracts for the Defence sector. To manage this growth effectively, we’re making our processes more efficient and ensuring we can keep all activities in-house. This gives us greater control over quality, reduces lead times, and offers our clients additional flexibility.
The new hall, which will connect directly to the existing final assembly hall, will provide additional capacity for both our paint shop and final assembly. By improving workflow efficiency and reducing the physical distance between departments, we’ll create better oversight and enhance collaboration. At the same time, internal logistics will be optimised, allowing materials to move through the process more quickly and safely.
Preparations are already in full swing. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025, and we expect the new hall to be operational in the first half of 2026. This expansion is about more than just extra square metres. It reflects our core philosophy: continuous investment in people, resources, and processes. Not only to stay strong today, but above all to be ready for whatever lies ahead.
