As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll have a varied workday where you play a key role between design and production.
Together with a Product Engineer, you work on trailer designs based on customer-specific requirements, ensuring everything meets technical and legal standards. You translate the technical design into production execution through BOM transformation with a focus on optimization. You also manage the lifecycle of modular parts and ensure correct setup in the PLM system.
Throughout the day, you act as the point of contact during the production process, maintaining close communication with the project team, which includes engineers, logistics, and production. You monitor progress, guide projects, and support production where needed.
What will you do?
Your tasks include, among others:
- Designing hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics using templates
- Setting up and coordinating projects according to the project plan
- Coordinating the use and design of production techniques and tools together with Process and Improvement Engineers
- Initiating homologation processes
- Checking trailer designs
- Performing cost price calculations
- Managing models and drawings in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system

Who are you?
- MBO (with relevant experience) or HBO in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Technical Business Administration
- Relevant work experience in an automotive organization is a plus
- Technical and spatial insight, proactive, self-starting, analytical
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production companies in the automotive or truck industry is a plus
- Good command of English and German is a plus
- Experience with PLM-Windchill is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems
