Shiftleader Robotwelder
At Broshuis, a strong trailer starts with precise welding. In our pre-fabrication department, components for semi-trailers are welded using modern welding robots. Because we build custom-made trailers and no trailer is ever the same, this requires craftsmanship, technical insight, and continuous quality control.
As a Welding Robot Shiftleader, you ensure that components for our trailers are correctly prepared and welded with various Panasonic (Valk Welding) robots, including our XXL welding robot. You check work orders, configure the robot when needed, and carry out measurements to ensure everything meets the required specifications. In this role, you directly contribute to the quality and safety of the trailers leaving our production facility.
You work close to the production process and keep an eye on both workflow and the people on the shop floor. Within your team, you ensure that work continues safely, efficiently, and according to planning. You monitor the quality of the welds and make sure any deviations are identified and corrected in time.
What will you do?
Your tasks may include:
- Reviewing work orders and checking for the presence and safety of required materials
- Starting up, adjusting, and operating the Panasonic welding robot
- Performing measurements using various measuring tools
- Checking the quality of the final product (the weld)
- Identifying deviations and adjusting the process when necessary
