VGM Coördinator
Would you like to play a key role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment?
In this position, you are the central point of contact within the organization for safety, health, environment, and emergency response (BHV).
You will develop policies, guide safety projects, and ensure that the emergency response organization is well-structured and always prepared. You identify risks, investigate incidents, and actively contribute to continuously improving the safety level and safety awareness within Broshuis.
In this role, you will lead the emergency response team leaders and work closely with supervisors, employees, and external parties such as occupational health services and certification bodies. This way, you directly contribute to strengthening our safety culture.
You report to the SHEQ Manager and act as the Emergency Response Coordinator, while the SHEQ Manager serves as the Head of Emergency Response.
What will you do?
As the HSE Coordinator & Emergency Response Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating and improving the safety policies within Broshuis.
Your tasks include:
- Implementing and managing the HSE policies and annual plan
- Conducting and updating RI&E’s, TRA’s, and workplace inspections
- Investigating and reporting incidents and near-misses
- Advising supervisors and employees on safe working practices
- Coordinating the emergency response organization
- Identifying improvement opportunities and initiating safety projects
- Maintaining contact with external parties such as occupational health services and inspection authorities
- Contributing to certifications such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

Who are you?
- You have a Bachelor-level education in Safety, Technology, or a related field
- Additional qualifications such as HVK are a plus
- Experience in a production or industrial environment
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (Working Conditions Act, environmental legislation)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Affinity with technology and shop-floor processes
