3-axle pendle
axle low loader
In early April, EcoAgroTec from Tecuci (Romania) received their brand-new Broshuis 3-axle pendle axle low loader. What started as an agricultural business has now grown into a company with a heart for heavy transport. EcoAgroTec handles its own transport of livestock, hay, straw, and machinery. The new low loader, equipped with a custom-built tarp, is ready for heavy-duty work, versatile in use, and built on reliability.
100% Dutch quality
EcoAgroTec is active in the agricultural sector and has an impressive fleet, including large agricultural machinery. For their diverse transport needs, they were looking for a trailer that was not only reliable but also flexible. The choice ultimately fell on Broshuis — a conscious decision for 100% Dutch quality. The 3-axle trailer is widely used: for construction machinery, agricultural vehicles, and even military equipment. Thanks to its ADR certification, transport for NATO is also no issue. "If it fits, we transport it," comes the resolute reply from Romania.
“The low tare weight combined with a high load capacity and excellent preservation make this low loader unique,” says Leen Hagestein (Technical Sales Expert for Romania), who was closely involved in the purchase process. “Everything is finished down to the smallest detail, and rust doesn’t stand a chance. That gives confidence.”
Quick decision
The purchase process went very quickly. Leen guided the customer from the very start: “The trailer is finished to perfection. Based on targeted advice and photos, the choice quickly fell on the pendle axle (PL2) low loader, despite an initial preference for a low loader with independent wheel suspension (SL2).” After a conversation with Leen and Harold Vorsteveld (CEO of Broshuis) in Kampen, the order was finalized within two hours.
On the way to more
The new low loader is likely just the beginning of a long-term partnership. Nicusor Christian Popa, owner of EcoAgroTec, is extremely satisfied with the final result. So much so, that discussions have already started about a next investment: a 5-axle semi low loader with wheel wells.
This summer, EcoAgroTec expects to return to Kampen with the 3-axle low loader, in combination with a VOLVO 750 6x2. The plan is to then join the Broshuis Convoy towards the Truckstar Festival in Assen. After participating in the Truckstar Festival, the team will continue their journey to Romania for TruckTrailer Art in August. No effort or expense will be spared to showcase this impressive combination in full glory.
